ALAN LOW

Senior Creative Director / Chief Cook & Bottle Washer

Born in Honolulu, Alan earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He has developed his design abilities through extensive experience in a broad range of graphic and environmental projects in his almost 30 years in the profession. Alan is particularly skilled at analyzing and distilling complex information and developing highly effective visual communications.

 

In 1992, he founded Synergy Design with two partners, where for the next 10 years they extensively collaborated with numerous clients, architects, other designers, and consultants on corporate and brand identity programs, environmental signage and exhibit graphics, product packaging, and corporate collateral projects. 

 

In 2002, Alan left Synergy Design to form Alan Low Design. He is also a design instructor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa: Outreach College's Pacific New Media.
